  9. Code Academy.

I love this site. I’m sure it’s all very basic to a lot of people that have been coding for a while, but for someone with almost no background, it’s the bees knees. Best part - it’s all FREE!

Also liking w3schools.com but it’s not as intuitive, since it’s not in a ‘lessons’ format, for the most part.

  13. demo track: “Running” - ed santiago

    https://soundcloud.com/alledsantiago/ed-santiago-running

i began the project for this track back in november 2011. i worked on it a pretty long time, but only ended up with frustration. there was no direction.

it started out very minimal, too heavy, but with a killer dominant sawtooth synth lead, but it was just a loop and didn’t go anywhere.

i picked it up again around the 2nd week of April 2013, and it finally started gaining momentum and came together rather quickly into what it is now.

this is also my first experiment in ‘trance’. i would love to do some more trance, since i’ve dabbled a bit in progressive.

anyways, please enjoy if you’re into trance or just browsing - and as always feedback is welcome.

My submission is a tech-tribal track at 120BPM. I have a love for the ‘dark’ side of ‘tribal’ or balearic house music, inspired by artists like Chus & Ceballos. It’s a slow, bass-heavy version that I think will work great in the opening section of a set. I hope you enjoy.
