The nutjob that created the hater profile (she/he/whatever it is obviously created a fake facebook profile, so that they could in turn create a fake profile of me, and use that profile to bash me, and proceed to invite friends off of my friends list and make up all kinds of crazy lies. This person is in serious breach of terms of agreement with Facebook, which by becoming a member you agree to, so it’s a matter of time before both pages are shut down – but I need you all to report these profile or else they won’t get taken down!! I don’t lie down and take SHIT!):

i have been a big Kubrick fan for a few years now and 2001 is one of my favorities, and this track sort of just evolved out of nothingness. actually, i was once again trying to get a ‘tribal/latin house’ track going but, per usual, my projects end up going more in the progressive direction. for some reason the sounds reminded me of 2001, so i just just kept working with it.

this track and previous new projects will be available for download when i finish enough tracks to put out ‘think first, dance second 3′. enjoy

as you all know by now, all of my mixes are produced, not ‘dj’ed’. i enjoy editing more than anything. anyways, there are a ton of edits in this mix, down to the millisecond. timing of tracks are made to be perfect, things are arranged and rearranged, and almost every transition you hear is a balance of about 3-4 tracks simultaneously playing at once. this is something i spend hours on.

i went for very much of a latin sound here with this mix. lots of brazilian influence in the first portion, then into the ‘tribal’/drums kind of stuff. yes, there are a few dj chus tracks on here, i’ve been on somewhat of a chus & ceballos kick lately. some of these tracks i played on my recent gig in ibiza, and they worked well with the other tracks i have come to enjoy.

the very last track in the mix is my original production called “Born to Be”, sort of a remix of an old disco track, inspired by Mark Knight’s “Devil Walking”. Hope you like it….because it’s not a final edit of the track. – ed

The funkiest track I’ve done so far. It’s simple, has a good hook and catchy vocals. Hope you like it as much as I do. It still needs a little audio level editing, but that’s about it. When I finish that I’ll replace the file. Enjoy!



A funky yet dark minimal-progressive-techy track. Good for a mid set tension builder or even an opener. I was going for a John Digweed Transitions ‘sound’ while keeping some of my own flavor.

So I started a new production track and I wanted it to go more in a ‘latin-house/tribal’ sound.

Somehow, don’t ask me how, but it slowly became a Prince remix.

Then browsing Reddit, I come to find the B-Ballin’ Blouse Man said “The Internet is over.”

In response, my remix is now formally called: “Prince – Kiss (Ed Santiago’s The Internet is Over Remix).
