music:

my styles range  from anywhere from deep, latin house to minimal, tech house and progressive and trance, but my preferences and ’sound’ can be described as drum-filled, soulful latin house as well as that intense, ‘dutch’ electro sounds with epic and funky vocals, all with a base of minimal-tech house gluing everything together.

i can incorporate several styles into a single set, being diverse and interesting – yet consistent; appealing to wide ranges of crowd and venue types, while retaining my signature sound.

i perform live using any of the following:

i am self taught in music production. i have been done ‘bootleg’ remixes and various mix sets, and some originally produced work of my own. i have produced my first original track “Seance” as well as its follow-up, “Exorcism” with long-time friend Dan Grashof; a classically trained musician and aspiring producer as well, and several other original solo productions. my production style tends to differ from my performance style; i tend to prefer to produce the darker, minimal-tech type of sound. i am experimenting with other styles of production, and will be diversifying my portfolio of work as time goes on.

business and education:

i attend Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, NY. I will be graduating spring 2011 with a Bachelors in Management Science, with a concentration in Music Theory and a minor in Entrepreneurship.

i am looking to begin a freelance business doing website optimization for small companies; i.e. effectively integrating social networks/media and online advertising/marketing into their business practices.

i have been working with another long-time friend Clayton Pacelli on The Rochester Entertainment & Music Group since late 2007. it started out as an idea, developed into a multimedia blog and somewhat of an ‘entertainment consultation service’ featuring posts/reports of music or entertainment based events in Rochester, NY and the local area, heavily focused on dj’s. the rem group will be on ‘hiatus’

for the next few months as we re-develop our business model into something more relevant and useful to aspiring artists – in and outside of Rochester, NY. stay tuned for updates on that over the coming months.
