And now, for something different, let’s talk about one of my favorite hobbies, Zombicide. This tabletop game enables you to be a survivor of the zombie apocalypse. Now in its 2nd Edition, you can find this game in your favorite comic book or game shop.
The game includes 12 different survivor mini-figures, each one an individual character, several zombie mini-figures that provides for walkers, runners, brutes, and four abominations mini-figures; this game also includes tokens, dice, weapon cards, board tiles, and other accessories,

The 2nd Edition game has 25 missions, including a tutorial, that lets you explore and search for supplies, weapons, and items that will help you become the ultimate zombie-killing machine. The more zombies you kill, the more skill points your character earns to level up. The downside is that the more powerful your character is, the more zombies will spawn on the board.
The Zombie apocalypse: it’s not a matter of “if”; it’s a matter of “when.”

Each mission has different goals to win the game, but it is essential to play as a group. If one of the survivors dies, the game is over. The game is also lost if you cannot reach the mission objectives.
CMON Games offer a wide variety of expansion packs for the game. Want to play as the Ghostbusters? Check. Want to play Batman? Check! There are other core sets available besides the 2nd Edition. There is Zombicide: Black Plague (fantasy setting), Zombicide: Invader (sci-fi setting), Zombicide: Undead or Alive (Western setting), and sets based on other intellectual properties like Night of the Living Dead or the newly released Marvel Zombies.

Zombicide: 2nd Edition is a lot of fun. It’s very accessible and easy to learn, yet very challenging. I highly recommend it!
