Here are the Frequently Asked Questions:
What tools do you use for writing?
I use different tools depending on the project. For example, I used a typewriter machine for my project’s first draft. I then use TextScanner OCR software to digitize the text to later import to Final Draft if it’s a script or to Pages if it’s a prose story. That way, I can have my editor edit and proof the story.
Why do you use a typewriter?
I love using a typewriter machine since it feels like an intimate process. You don’t get distracted by pop-up messages or emails. Instead, you can focus on what words you use. You don’t have a delete button in a typewriter; this forces you to think before you type. It makes sure you’re using the best words in your writing. Also, it’s cool to use a typewriter machine.
What is your favorite word?
Cacophony.
What music do you like to listen to when you write?
I depends on what I’m writing. I love movie soundtracks like Willow by James Horner when writing a swashbuckling action scene. I also love to listen to 80s music, RUSH, and Saga. Lately, I’ve been following Lofi Girl on YouTube.
What are your favorite movies and genres?
I love Horror, Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Western, and Adventure genres of movies. My favorite movies are Raiders of the Lost Ark, The Empire Strikes Back, John Carpenter’s The Thing, and George A. Romero’s Dead series.
Any hobbies?
I enjoy playing video games from Nintendo to PlayStation. In addition, I love listening to music on my Sony Walkman Digital Audio Player. I also enjoy flying Prism Kites. Lately, I’ve been enjoying playing Zombicide board games.
